The Poplars Guest House operates on a seasonal basis, opening from April to November. The owners choose to trade just under the VAT threshold, achieving strong profitability from this lifestyle business. In addition, the owners also utilise a suite on the ground floor for their own personal use, thus restricting their potential turnover even further. Income is generated through the letting of 6 quality en-suite bedrooms.
