The property comprises of a series of older single storey buildings, of brick evaluations set beneath a pitched double span slate roof, incorporating roof lights, set upon a steel truss roof structure.
The property originally formed three separate buildings, which have now been linked together. The buildings are of steel frame construction with steel columns and beams supporting a steel truss roof. Openings have been formed in the brick walls between the buildings to link them together. The left-hand section has double timber loading doors to the front elevation.
The middle section has been divided to form a rear workshop area with part concrete and part timber boarded floor, with steel beams and stanchions supporting the roof truss and timber boarding to the underside of the roof. There is a floor mounted gas warm air blower heater. To the front section are storerooms, kitchen and an original entrance area which have been partitioned by either brick or timber studding. To the middle and right-hand section there is the main customer entrance which leads in to the kitchen and bedroom display showrooms, office and toilets. The showroom section has suspended ceilings, a mixture of laminate and tiled floors and is centrally heated by means of a gas boiler.
The right hand end section provides a long narrow building with fire door and pedestrian access onto the cobbled back street. It has a brick partition to the front for a spray booth.
