The Milton Inn is a charming hostelry set within a Highland village community in a sound trading location. The business historically traded on a year-round basis and had strong local support. The Inn has spacious public areas, benefitting from a snug public bar as well as a more relaxed lounge bar / family restaurant. The previous operator did not offer any food service and concentrated on wet sales only, opening in the evenings on a restricted basis. However, should new owners wish to introduce food to the Inn, the business is well set up to accommodate this. Both bar serveries operate back to back and are well equipped for all business needs. The lounge bar is a spacious facility which could accommodate up to 40 diners and has been the focus of many social activities. The business is well-supported by good service areas including storage, beer cellar and office. There is a kitchen which could be utilised for commercial use. The owner's accommodation has a lounge and 4 or 5 bedrooms plus a family bathroom and separate W.C. The property in its current format would require an element of inward investment and this is reflected in the price of the property. However, this allows for a new opportunity to put their own stamp on the business.
REASON FOR SALE
The current owner purchased the Inn in 1996 and had until recently leased it out. Now non-trading, it is her decision to retire through poor health that brings this charming property to the market.
